Our Tall, Skinny Son

Notice Jake's high-waters? At his two-month appointment on St. Paddy's Day, we learned Jake has grown four inches and gained four pounds since he was born! He was 24.5 inches long and weighed 11.5 pounds at the appointment. As a result, his clothes are either too short or too baggy!

Jake is certainly growing fast, and is also becoming very active and engaged. He rolled over for the first time last Thursday, and loves to chat with whoever is around. He hates taking naps, but once he does fall asleep he is out cold!

Usually he sleeps at least 6-7 hours straight at night, which is fantastic for mom and dad. We are VERY appreciative!

Much of March has been spent cheering on the Tigers, often with grandpa and grandma Auer. Jake has visited State Street and Lockton, to meet daddy and mommy's co-workers. This week we are having fun with grandma Sharon, who is visiting for Spring Break. Grandpa Steve is joining her in Lenexa tonight to watch the Tigers play. Uncle Ryan is due to arrive Saturday, as long as the snow stays away!
